HOW DO WE SOLVE THE PROBLEM OF SEXUAL TENSIONS?
Can men and women work together?
This is a pretty massive subject for debate in our societies at this moment. Everybody is talking about sexual tension, about how we perceive it and whether there can be a strictly professional relationship between a man and a woman. So you better understand what I mean by that, let me detail that by using a personal example.
For instance, I have been told, when I was a bit younger, that there can be no platonic relationship between a man and a woman. Never. In the sense that they may behave like it is, but in reality it is not.
In reality, there is a specific instinct we all grow inside of us and which we cannot control, emotionally speaking – sexual instinct. And sexual instinct is the one leading to sexual tension, for it manages to grab hold of our thoughts so much so that we tend to break social norms because of it. And this is where it gets dangerous.
What is acceptable and what is not?
At some point, among the higher philosophical circles, the problem of sexual abuse was in the center of attention. You know, that vaguely defined term “Socially unacceptable behavior”. The big problem is that we, as a society, tend to constantly redefine what it is we seek under the umbrella of the “unacceptable”.
In this regard, if once was deemed unacceptable to rape a woman, for instance, nowadays, aside from that, we also find unacceptable to slap her butt, flirt with her, compliment her looks, look down her cleavage or simply salute her. Fuck me, right? And all of this steams off of sexual tension between men and women, one we can only control in some measure.
And when we say we need to control it completely, what exactly do we mean by that? Well, here is what that entails:
- Women should stop wearing high-heels
- Women should stop wearing make-up
- They should not be allowed to wear deep cleavages or sexy skirts
- They should cover their hair and their face, for those too contain sexual stimulus
- Women should not even speak for the same reason
- Men should not address them in any shape or form, touch them or look in their direction
Now, once these conditions set in place, try and visualize what that would mean for a society that would apply them to the full extent. I mean, not even Islamism isn’t that drastic. That would be a society that simply could not function, for obvious reasons. How can you solve it? Well, it seems simple enough to me. We grant people more freedom.
But, but…
Yea, but what does “more freedom” actually means? Won’t more freedom mean we will have more cases of sexual abuse? Do you see what types of problems we are dealing with in 2018? I bet you didn’t even know they existed. And, to be honest, this article is written for females especially. For men too, but especially females, for obvious reasons.
And, in this regard, I do have a system by which to solve this sexual tension problem, rather easy I would say. Whether it might work or not, that is to be seen. Until then, let’s have a look at what the potential solutions might be:
For women
- Whether you like it or not, men will always admire your looks – The problem is this is how we function instinctually. No matter how much we would try to refrain from it, it clearly dominates our thoughts every minute of our lives.
- You dress nicely and put on make-up to attract our attention – This is a sexual behavior, whether you realize it or not. This is what make-up signifies, so I would advise you to have a little bit of introspection. Don’t be hypocrite, ladies. This shows you love sexual tension just as much as we do.
- There is nothing wrong in sexual tension – You like it, we like it. I fail to see the problem here. The moment you don’t like a specific behavior, let the guy know it, in a reasonable manner. If you are bothered by a man cordially saluting you, that’s a sign you are fucking sick in the head.
Conclusion: Learn how to loosen up a bit. Nothing bad will happen because of sexual tension, as long as you tolerate one another.
For men
- Not all women love the same things – If you are more of a redneck yourself, learn how to behave around women. And, most importantly, learn how to act according to the social context you are in. Learn how to be a responsible adult.
- Learn how to be more diplomat – The idea is for you to steer sexual tension in a direction that will bring you a lot of benefits. And do it subtly. Stop using it as a weapon, but as a magnet.
- Educate yourself – It is called growing up, evolving. Stop making sexual jokes and allusions when you shouldn’t and try looking women in the eyes when speaking to them. Try to be civilized and you will have a lot to gain on the long run.
Conclusion: Not all men are pigs and it is up for you to prove that to everybody.
The conclusion to sum it all up?
The conclusion is that sexual tension is not necessarily a bad thing. What is bad is sexual abuse, and that can’t be easily defined to start with. We have a lot of different definitions of it, but not something that can ever lead to good things.
My advice is this – let sexual tension flow. It is what keeps us alive and makes us feel important, beautiful, desired and potent. I see nothing wrong with it, as long as we stick to respecting each other as it we should. Stop acting like spoiled little brats and embrace it, for this is what fucking adults do.
